Following a national newspaper interview in which she spoke about her mental health, a female college student had private intimate photos and videos leaked by her ex-boyfriend in a local Facebook group. The media quickly spread across Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram, and local blogs, resulting in severe cyberbullying, harassment by strangers on the street, and threatening phone calls. The profound distress and trauma from the incident forced her to delete her social media accounts and led her to contemplate suicide.
