The official representative voice of young people at SHIELD

It aims to further advance youth voices by integrating young people into the work of SHIELD at all levels. It also offers a sustainable platform for engagement with decision-makers and youth-led organizations.

SHIELD Youth Council works to mobilize the voices of young people and advocate for all stakeholders to engage with young people and other organizations with a focus on

…moving youth participation from consultation to co-design, and from co-design to shared decision-making power.
…ensuring that young people with lived experience of digital harm have a real role in shaping the systems meant to protect them.
…recognizing that a seat at the table means nothing if the agenda was already set before young people arrived.
