Axios Italia, supplier to about 40% of Italian schools, reported a ransomware attack starting 3 April 2021 that left many schools without their register as in-person lessons resumed. The company told teachers and staff to use an emergency register, said it expected to restore service, and said its checks so far showed no data stolen. The company first noticed and reported it.
