A father discovered that his two secondary-school-aged children could access video content bordering on soft pornography via the Dailymotion platform on their school-issued Personal Learning Devices (PLDs), despite device management applications intended to block undesirable content. He reported the issue to Singapore’s Ministry of Education in March 2026, and the ministry confirmed it blocked the Dailymotion website in response within days. The Ministry stated it takes proactive and reactive action to review and block undesirable sites and offered to meet directly with the parent. This case is notably well-documented and government-confirmed, with a clear, fast institutional response following a single parent’s report.
