SHIELD

A female upper secondary school student took a screenshot of her grade on the register on the day it was given, then noticed the teacher had later lowered it and captured that too. In February 2018, a court in Lombardy, Italy, sentenced the teacher to 13 months’ imprisonment for material falsification by a public official (art. 476 of the criminal code) over changes to two of the student’s grades. The student first noticed. The response acted on the person responsible. Whether the register or school procedures changed is not stated in source.
